Port of Hvide Sande has been ISO certified

As an important goal in Hvide Sande Harbor's Strategy 2025, we are pleased and very proud to have just been certified according to both ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.

This is a strategic initiative aimed at making the harbor competitive on several parameters. Here, ISO certification helps continuously improve our processes and methods, raising a higher standard and ensuring quality in our daily work, working environment, and environmental management in general. We see it as an acknowledgment of our organization, staff, workflows, and processes that we have now been certified in all 3 categories.

In addition to ensuring that it will contribute to enhancing the quality of our workflows and daily operations in the future, there is also an increased focus from our customers and partners at the harbor to demand that we, as a supplier, have the certifications to be considered by them.

It has been an exciting, long, and educational process for our employees throughout the organization to achieve the certifications. All employees have positively contributed to the process over time, and only through this great collective effort has it been possible to reach the goal completely.

We hope and believe that the ISO certifications can help place Hvide Sande Harbor in an even more competitive situation as a dynamic lighthouse for the sustainable development of the local area.
