From the motorway network west of Herning, route 15 to Hvide Sande has no height or width restrictions. On the stretch between Lem, Ringkøbing, and Hvide Sande West Harbour, it is possible to transport blades up to 80 meters in length. The same stretch is also prepared for modular transport.
When it comes to the transport of goods, there will often be discussions about integrated transport solutions – that is, a combination of sea transport and road transport. Therefore, there should also be continued focus on the road connection to Hvide Sande Harbour.
Hvide Sande Harbour and Hvide Sande Service Group are working together with Ringkøbing-Skjern Municipality to upgrade the route from the motorway network at Herning to Hvide Sande to a 2+1 road.
Hvide Sande Harbour leads the way in the local area's sustainable development by ensuring coexistence between the harbour and the town. We aim to contribute to openness and good communication with all customers and partners.
By investing in the green transition, while the harbour operates an economically, efficient, and socially responsible business, it enables investment in the harbour's infrastructure and areas as well as the development of existing and new business areas.
