From the motorway network west of Herning, route 15 to Hvide Sande is completely free of height and lateral restrictions. On the route between Lem, Ringkøbing and Hvide Sande Vesthavn, it is possible to transport wings up to 80 metres in length. The same stretch is also prepared for road train transport.
When we talk about the transport of goods and commodities, we are often talking about connected transport solutions - a combination of maritime and road transport. Therefore, the road connection to the Port of Hvide Sande must continue to be in focus in the future.
The Port of Hvide Sande and Hvide Sande Service Group are working with Ringkøbing-Skjern Municipality to upgrade the route from the motorway network at Herning to Hvide Sande to a 2+1 road, enhancing accessibility for both land and sea transport.
The Port of Hvide Sande leads the way in the sustainable development of the local area, creating a symbiosis between port and town. We wish to promote openness and good communication with all customers and partners.
By investing in the green transition, while at the same time the port operates an economic, efficient and socially responsible business enabling investment in the port's infrastructure and land, as well as in the development of existing and new business areas.
