INVITATION TO NEW YEAR'S RECEPTION

Hvide Sande Harbor, Sydvestjysk Fishermen's Association and Hvide Sande Service Group have the pleasure of inviting you to New Year's reception on Friday, January 31, 2025

Come and hear about what we are working on at Hvide Sande Harbor and how we believe the Harbor's opportunities are shaping up for the coming years, and come and hear about the current situation in the fishing industry.   Then Flemming Splidsboel Hansen will share his insights on the situation in Ukraine, which has now been at war with Russia for almost 3 years. A war that also impacts the rest of Europe. You will also receive insights into the long-term consequences of the war, including the impact on Ukraine, Russia, Europe, and the global order.

The program is as follows:

8:00-8:30 Morning coffee

8:30–8:45: Thomas Rahbek Sloth will inform about the current situation in the fishing industry.

8:45-10:00: The opportunities for Hvide Sande Harbor, both with insights from the Harbor and from users of the harbor with Hans Schneider, Mogens Pedersen, and Carl Erik Kristensen.

10:00-11:30: The conflict in Ukraine – are we in a new Cold War?

11:30-12:00: Bubbles
