Hvide Sande Harbor - Accounting 2024

The board of Hvide Sande Port has just approved the financial statement for 2024, and it ended with a remarkable result of 5.6 million DKK in profit and a nice increase in revenue, which now amounts to 45.4 million DKK. This is the second highest revenue in history and it covers increases in most business areas. The equity has now surpassed 100 million DKK.

The chairman of the board for Hvide Sande Port, Hans Schneider, states: “I am pleased with the fine financial result, but I am almost even more glad that we can maintain revenue in most business areas. For me, it is important that there is space and opportunity for many different types of activities, and both fishing and offshore wind have been progressing well in 2024, just as the rental of areas for tourism activities is steadily increasing, not least because the Langsand project has come as far as it has.”

Port director Mogens Pedersen is also pleased with the result. “In a time where other ports have faced severe challenges, it is good that there is stability around the economy in Hvide Sande Port. Now it is about building on the positive trends and developing the Port, so that it is also a strong asset for Hvide
Sande in the 2030s.”

Now the financial statement needs to be approved by the Finance Committee in Ringkøbing-Skjern Municipality, and it is expected to happen during May.
