Ban on drone flights in Hvide Sande Harbour 

Flying drones within the area of Port of Hvide Sande is strictly prohibited — regardless of purpose — without prior permission from the Port Control.

It is likewise prohibited to fly drones outside the harbour area for the purpose of photographing or filming within Port of Hvide Sande without prior permission from the Port Control.

The following information must be submitted to the Port Control:

• Name of applicant (individual or company)
• Contact information (phone number and email)
• Purpose of the flight (e.g. inspection, filming)
• Date and time of the flight
• Operational area
• Drone operator registration number (from the Danish Transport Authority)

Permission to fly drones in Port of Hvide Sande is generally granted as a single-use permit only.
A new application must therefore be submitted each time drone operations are requested.

When evaluating an application for drone flight within Port of Hvide Sande, the Port Control will consider:

• The Danish Drone Executive Order (BEK 2253)
• The EU Drone Regulation (EU 2019/947)
• The EU Drone Product Regulation (EU 2019/945)

Port of Hvide Sande reserves the right to assess whether the requested drone operation may interfere with other activities or interests within the harbour area or those of its customers, and to decide accordingly — including in reference to Executive Order no. 1190 on CCTV Surveillance.

Port of Hvide Sande may, at any time, require documentation of approval and authorization for both the drone and the drone operator.
